Course Information

Carpet Weaving and Technology is a course of one year duration. During one year the trainee is trained on subjects like proffessional skill, fibre skill. Carpet Weaving is a branch that  is slowly gaining popularity in today's  job market. It deals with the manufacturing, processing, production as well as design of carpets. There is a huge demand for carpet and textiles technology graduates in the carpet and textile production industry.

After Successful completion of training , certificates are being awarded to the students by national/State Council for Vocational training.Also a stipend of Rs 2000/- per month is provided to the trainee.

 Nature and scope of Carpet Weaving and Technology:-

This course is meant for the trainees who aspire to become entreprenaurs and also provide huge job opportunites.

The field of designing , Dyeing and printing of textiles in international textiles production industries, it is defined as the expression of the creativity , emotion and has a different shade of meaning. Artist use their form of work to pass along with their work feelings and emotions.

Career Prospectus:-

A carpet technologist can except, to begin with a renumeration of Rs 1 lac per annum and group with experience. you can expect to get  a job in the fashion and textile industry as QR manager, Textile technologist, product developers  and also works as  a produt engineer as well.
